Cemented carbide is the term which refers to sintered composite materials composed of at least one metal carbide constituent. Tungsten Carbide (WC), Titanium Carbide (TiC),Tantalum Carbide (TaC) are common constituents.
Our tungsten carbide rods are made of optimum quality raw material WC, which acts as hard phase, and the binder agent Cobalt. With powder metallurgy HIP technology, carbide rods are sintered with homogeneous microstructure including little or even no porosity, to a great extent, increasing the whole performance and properties such as hardness and bending strength.
Our HF30U solid rod obtains 93 HRA hardness and at least 4000 MPa transverse rupture strength.

Our HF30U carbide rods are fit for high speed cutting of hardened steel, titanium alloy, stainless steel and Nicket-based alloy, especially end mills application for precision electronic industry.
We make tungsten power, WC powder, carbide powder, and then we produce carbide rods. In this case, we can monitor every process and make sure that we can make the stable tungsten carbide rods. Besides, with standard 330/310 mm length, you can cut the rods into whatever fixed length you need.
